Objectives: To understand the 8D problem-solving methodology, the main tools used (5 What, Ishikawa, etc.) and acquire the knowledge necessary to use them in an optimal way.
Target audience: Personnel from manufacturing or service companies involved in the process, control or process management - engineers from quality departments, process engineering, production, department heads, Logistics specialists, Customer Service, etc.
Duration: 2 days + possibility of another day of consultancy for the projects allocated to the students

• Description of steps
• Description of the tools used
• Describe how to chain the tools

• Discussions. Examination and completion of the course
Presented tools (step by step):
1. Definition: Flow Diagram.
2. Team identification.
3. Customer Protection: Measure Plan, Verification vs. Validation.
4. Identification of root causes: Ishikawa (5M) + 5De Ce, Tree Diagram
5. Finding and selecting solutions: Brainstorming, benchmarking, cause-effect matrix
6. Implementing solutions + verifying effectiveness: Gantt chart, time diagram
7. Maintain measures (prevention of recurrence): FMEA, Control Plan
8. Recognition of contributions and archiving.
