Internal Auditor ISO 45001

Objectives: To reduce the risk to employees and others, to improve an existing occupational health and safety management system, to demonstrate concern for the health and safety of staff, or to increase safety in relation to risk management.

Target audience: The course is aimed at those with knowledge of OHSAS 18001: 2007, who are eager to understand the benefits and implications of the new standard, the migration schedule to ISO 45001: 2018 and any significant differences between the old and the new standard, but also those who wish to implement an occupational health and safety management system in accordance with ISO 45001: 2018.

Duration: 2 days.

• Occupational health and safety management system and its integration with other management systems
• Objectives of the new ISO 45001: 2018 standard
• ISO 45001: 2018 structure, based on the PDCA cycle.
• New terminology: risk-based approach, organizational context, stakeholders, hierarchy of controls, change management, outsourced services, control of suppliers and contractors.
• Risk management in the context of the ISO 45001: 2018 standard
• The requirements of the ISO 45001: 2018 standard.
• Note: case studies, examples, exercises and group activities will be presented throughout the course.

Test method: Grid type test.
