Introduction to quality control at reception

Objectives: Participants will acquire basic knowledge of quality control in the goods reception area.

Target audience: Quality Department personnel (engineers or technicians), involved in the quality inspection of parts in the reception area and beyond.

Duration: 2 days

Agenda: 

• Introduction - presentation of participants and lecturer, clarification of code of conduct, objectives and expectations from the course, presentation of important terms for the Quality activity or that will be used in the course
• Role of the Quality Department
• Quality Management Systems - quality principles, description of quality standards and summary of the ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 structure, types of documented information and their control
• Data collection and analysis - Sampling, Data types
• Quality tools - SPC, MSA
• Measurement and control - measuring and control equipment, ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 requirements, calibrations, MSA
• Introduction to reading technical drawings - Key elements of dimensioning, Tolerances, Sections
• Discussions. Examination. Course closure
